Projects Business Sales Acquisitions Buy-outs
Much of Beltrae Partners Private Equity relates to finance raising for projects where we are acting as principal, where we invest risk capital sourced from our own team, our financial backers, and our network of High Net Worth Individuals.
In addition to these, we have raised in excess of £750million of Private Equity from 3rd party sources to back specific client projects, where there was an equity need. All of the buy-outs detailed included finance raising (debt and equity) in addition to our core Corporate Finance advisory role. A notable deal was the sale of a majority shareholding in Relay Software Ltd to the London based private equity fund, Hg Capital - this was one of the largest private equity deals in Ireland in 2014.
Beltrae Partners completed the first investment made by the Growth Loan Fund (GLF) in N.Ireland in September 2012 when they advised Brookvent Manufacturing who received an investment of £425k from the GLF. Beltrae have subsequently completed a number of other transactions on behalf of clients with the GLF.
In 2017 Beltrae completed its first joint investment with the British Business Bank (Angel Co-Fund) in a seed round in Neurovalens Ltd, alongside TechstartNI. This was followed by a Seriess A funding round in 2018.
In 2020 Beltrae advised on a number of life science Series A and Series A+ funding rounds including OneProjects 11m Euro funding round led by Life Science Partners.
